I once heard someone say, “When you’re at the end of your rope, hold on to the knot”. Meaning, we should anticipate difficult times that will challenge us, and in some cases even test our faith. Regardless of the circumstance it is important to hold on to faith, but we must never give up. As time marches on the Christian life increases with confidence by continuing to trust that God can do anything but fail. Jesus tells us in Mark 9:23 KJV, Jesus said unto him, if thou can believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. Of course, when Jesus said. “All things” He meant, all the things that align with God’s will.
Throughout the Old Testament, we not only learn the rich history of how God worked to create human life and the existence of our complex universe, but we also learn how that Holy men, Prophets, Kings, and Queens discovered that having faith in God could determine whether you would successfully rise or fall. The success stories are those who endured much affliction but
overcame in the end.
In our next upcoming blog we will take a look at the miracle of the burning bush. In an open dessert, God chose one particular bush to burn with an undying fire. This was Gods way of
getting Moses’ undivided attention in order to give him instructions that would change the course of history.
