All Lives Matter
Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die. (Ezekiel 18:4)
The Lord, through Prophet Ezekiel, declared, "Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine..." (Ezekiel 18:4). If lives are important to God, they should also matter to the parents who gave them life. Parents have a responsibility to guide their children in the ways of the Lord so they can truly live. Without moral guidance from homes, churches, schools, and communities, no program without a godly foundation can prevent loss of life. The ultimate solution is God's Word, which can stop this downward spiral. Paul instructs in Ephesians 6:1-9 to children to obey and honor their parents, promising a long life in return. Fathers are urged to nurture their children in the Lord’s ways, and servants are called to serve sincerely as unto Christ, with masters also instructed to treat their servants with respect, knowing their ultimate Master in heaven. Jesus's teaching in Matthew 7:12, "Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them," highlights the enduring power of the Golden Rule and biblical principles. Valuing every life and building our lives on God's Word is essential.
