Are You Being Deceived?

But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

Thought For Today:
I'm amazed by how many people, who claim to be led by the Spirit of God, are misled, deceived, and tricked by this world.  You name it, man is being deceived.  From religion to automobiles. From cosmetics to attire.  From promises to lies, man is being deceived.  This world is so corrupt that even many of the very elect of God are being deceived.  People vote for individuals, programs, activities, and changes they know little about. They are being deceived.  "Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst," The Lord said (Isaiah 5:13).  Why did Paul tell Timothy to continue in the things that he had learned?  Paul knew that in the last days, perilous times would come, and that the only way Timothy would not be deceived was if he continued in the word of God. They knew that Jesus had said that many would come in His name and deceive many.  If you do not have discernment of spirits in these last days, deception will overpower you and lead you into captivity.
