Blood Purification

There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

(Luke 13:1-5)

Thought For Today:

I am amazed at how fearfully and wonderfully we are made. Each of us possesses a distinct blood type, unique DNA sequence, individual vision, and other personal characteristics. Certain people are described as having bad blood, which refers to conflicts or disputes between families or groups. If they have bad blood, it did not come from Jesus.  When they told Jesus that Pilate had mingled Galilaeans' blood with their sacrifices, they thought that Jesus would be upset.  But Jesus asked them, "Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."  What was wrong with the Galilaeans blood?  They were looked down upon as being unclean. They were seen as heathens.  It has been stated that every person who is cut or wounded bleeds red.  If your blood is contaminated, it didn't come from Jesus, because His blood is pure. Do you need a blood transfusion? This happens when we are born again.
