Experience The Day of Pentecost For Yourself

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. (Acts 2:1-4)

THOUGHT FOR TODAY:

First of all, I want to give God glory because I just learned that my granddaughter received the Holy Ghost at youth camp. Praise the Lord!

The day of Pentecost is when the Holy Ghost was poured out upon the 120 believers in Jerusalem. It marked the establishment of the New Testament Church. They went out preaching the word everywhere, accompanied by signs that set the captives free. The day of Pentecost occurred fifty days after the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus shared his thoughts often about the wonderful work of the Holy Ghost.

John 4:13-14 13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: 14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

I am so thankful to have received the Holy Ghost. I will never forget what it was like when I received the Holy Ghost. Can you remember?
