Get Insured

For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD. And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. (Exodus 12:12-13)

Thought For Today:

As I drive past car dealerships, I notice price tags ranging from $30K to $90K, and I see many folks driving these vehicles.  And then I ask myself: how many motorists are driving without insurance? God didn't want the children of Israel to leave Egypt without insurance.  And so he told Moses that everyone was to take blood and place it upon the doorpost.  "And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you."  The blood was to serve as their life insurance, and it serves as ours today as well.  Are you insured?  Spiritually speaking, don't settle for term life, but take out a whole life policy.  "And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ"(1 Thessalonians 5:23). One day, your policy will pay out greatly for you.
