I Just Started Living

There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. (John 3:1-5)

Thought For Today:
Some folks think that just because they have become born again, they have finished the race, not realizing that they have actually just entered the race.  Being born again doesn't mean you're finished. It means you've just entered the battle.  You weren't Satan's enemy as long as you were not born again.  But now you are on his target board for being a trader.  And now you must decide who will be your commander-in-chief.  Once you are born again, you must learn how to live, act, and discipline yourself so you do not become a casualty of your own foolishness.  The Bible must become your rule and guidebook of how to live.  You must now walk circumspectly, cautiously, and watchfully toward those who are without to avoid pitfalls that are set now by your adversary.  Being born again means you have decided to start over and live the way Jesus desires and commands you to live.
