Walk The Walk

For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: (Colossians 1:9-12)

Thought For Today:
What would you say if I told you that the only way you're going to make it to heaven is if you walk?  Let me explain. If you notice what the scripture says, "That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light."; "This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh" ... If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit" (Galatians 5:16;25); "Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth" (John 12:35); "This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind" (Ephesians 4:17); "That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory" (1 Thessalonians 2:12).  If we obey the scriptures and walk the walk that they bid us to, we should be able to walk right on up that highway to heaven.  Yet remember, none can walk up there but the pure in heart.
