Well Done

Isaiah 6:1-5
In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke. Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts"

Thought For Today:
When the children of Israel were preparing to depart Egypt, the Lord told Moses that when they cooked their lamb, they were not to eat of it raw. "And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it. Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof" (Exodus 12:8-9). "As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread" (John 21:9). Jesus cooked his food. And even after his resurrection, "And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat? And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb" (Luke 24:41-42).

Isaiah said that when He saw the Lord, he realized that he was undone. He was not ready, he needed to be 'cooked' some more. And so he had to be touched from the altar with a live coal before he was ready. He had to have some more fire in his life. If you are still struggling with things of this world in your life, you may need to go back to the altar because Jesus wants you well done. Jesus desires you to be complete in Him.
