Declare The Truth
Psalms 96:9-13
9 O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth. 10 Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously. 11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof. 12 Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice 13 Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.
Thought For Today
Every employee has a job description. Whether you are a Doctor, Lawyer, City employee, Banker, or janitor, we all have a job description. We see in this scripture that the Lord has given us a simple job description. We are expected to speak up when we are placed in front of non-believers and to declare the truth. What is truth? The truth is that Jesus reigns with authority and power. Jesus is God alone. Jesus died for our sins and was buried in a tomb, but on the third day He rose from the dead, and He wants to give us that same resurrection power through the Holy Spirit. We shouldn’t be afraid to speak up for Jesus. My advice is to place greater emphasis on fulfilling the job description that God has given us.
We are witnesses to what we have experienced through our conversion. Where were you before Jesus found you? What did it take for you to give your heart to the Lord? How has God blessed you since you started living for Him? Those are the questions that need to be answered and shared with everyone you come in contact with. The Lord is coming soon, and we must help people find the only way of salvation, and that is to repent, be baptized in Jesus' Name, and receive the Holy Ghost just like the Apostles did in the New Testament.
